Candidate for Colorado House of Representatives, district 8.
 This is a huge 3ft x 6ft tall snowman that was built in an apartment complex in Superior, CO. The words "Free Tibet" were embedded in the snowman to raise awareness of the events happening in Tibet with the government and the Dalai Lama.
 Larger than life: Phillip Burton (1 June 1926 ??? 10 April 1983) was a United States Representative from California. A Democrat, he was instrumental in creating the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Burton was one the few first members of Congress to acknowledge the need for AIDS research and introduce an AIDS bill.

How Denver protects its mountainview legacy
 My dad, Jim Selway, served honorably in the 1940's in the US Air Force. This photo came from Pueblo's own http://www.homeofheroes.com/ I hope that all of our veterans will be respected by our next commander in Chief, and that our soldiers can begin coming home. My natural father, Jack Brazelton, never came home. His grave is in Italy.
 We called her Big Mama. She was Emma Russell Yearian, first woman elected to the Idaho Legislature. Named the Sheep Queen of Idaho. An imposing woman who scared me to death when I was about 5. She was my great grandmother. I wish I could talk to her now. I remember only one of her sayings: judging the "fitness of the thing."
