Article Discussion: Hackers claim break-in to Palin's e-mail account
WASHINGTON—Hackers broke into the Yahoo! e-mail account that Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin used for official business as Alaska's governor, revealing as evidence a few inconsequential personal messages she has received since John McCain selected her as his running mate. "This is a shocking invasion of the governor's privacy and a violation of law. The matter has b...

if she has done nothing wrong, she has nothing to hide.
isn't that what the republican authoritarians say when it's their goons invading a citizen's privacy?

What is she hiding and where is she hiding it? Palin appears to be a crook in the mold of Spiro Agnew, with lots to hide and she now has support of the McCain mafia (and a slew of lawyers) to hide, obstruct, sidestep, refuse, and continue the abuse of power. What is she hiding?

You're more than just a little confused Dayhka.
Gee- let's see now. WHO would have the most to gain by someone hacking Palin's email? OBAMA of course. Dems, go figure.
Dayhka- please publish your email address and password, or do you have something to hide?

Article Discussion: Hackers claim break-in to Palin's e-mail
I wonder which one of the 30 people Obama sent to Alaska to do some opposition research helped hack into her account?
Lying isn't enough for Obama and the libs this year; with the help of the MSM, they are free to steal in broad daylight and not get questioned about it. I'm sure they'll cooperate after they get their hands on all the emails and cull some good ones for October.
So nice these liberals.

A "Yahoo" account? Republicans do have problems with managing email. Probably going to host the DOD servers on Google.

Oh, brother! there are plenty of bored hackers out there that would probably love to do this, even if just to stir the pot. Why would you just assume that it was someone from Obama's campaign? If it was, then shame on them/him but I'd say its more likely the guy was an average hacker.

Only someone who's not very smart would use a Yahoo account for government business. It's widely known that Yahoo mail isn't very secure. I wonder what post of grades she got in school. Lol!

Why would anyone assume that this would happen seven days after Obama sent a platoon of opposition researchers (you know the guys who literally dig through trash, interview the target's childhood babysitter, and do public and private records checks in order to collect dirt) to Alaska.
Gee - I really don't know why one might assume this is an Obama operative. I'm sure all these op research people are nice law abiding citizens.

Dems owned Congress since '06. Filibuster proof Senate in '09. So why do Dems blame Reps when they have to bribe Dems in order to pass Obama's great "kill-the-economy programs? The typical Obama voter

Not even Obama would be dumb enough to instruct his lackies to hack into Palin's email. I am sure Watergate has taught all competent politicians a good lesson.

Are these Obama's plumbers? Does anyone know where William Ayers was between 3-4 am?

Article Discussion: Hackers claim break-in to Palin's e-mail
From slashdot.org (the news site for nerds):
"Anonymous" Hacks Palin's Private Email
"'Anonymous,' best known for its jousts with Scientology, has apparently hacked Sarah Palin's private Yahoo email account. Contents, including sample emails, an index, and family photos, have been posted by Wikileaks, which calls them evidence that the GOP vice presidential candidate has improperly used private email to shield government business from public scrutiny."
It's been verified as genuine.
So those of you trying to pin it on Obama are way off base.

Re: Article Discussion: Hackers claim break-in to Palin's e-mail
What is really troubling is that some of you folks think it is perfectly acceptable to hack into and publish someone's email simply based on the fact that you don't agree with them politically.
Is this the new Party of inclusion and tolerance? You think the neocons are terrible so you are not only going to adopt the very tactics that you complain about but you are going to take them to new levels of extremism?

I doubt that it has anything to do with Barry's campaign (this would not only be an election killer, he'd be prosecuted), but this doesn't prove responsibility one way or the other.

I'm sure there's nothing of consequence to be found in her account. She has no clue and no experience.

"The internet griefers known as Anonymous took credit for the intrusion, and screenshots of e-mail messages and photos belonging to the Alaska governor have been published by WikiLeaks. Threat Level has confirmed the authenticity of at least one of the e-mails."
I think this does prove responsibility, one way or the other.
